Raymond Watts brings the Divine Descent Tour to the US this fall with the

original lineup.

He reunites with Steve White, guitar slinger with thru the industrial

wars of the 90’s before going on to carve his name as the keystone guitarist

with KMFDM for many years. When time allowed Steve could be found

building solid steel riffs and touring with 16 Volt. But it’s his return to

that puts the sausage back in the centre of the sty once again …

En Esch also returns to the fold with Watts. These partners in swine

started their long and twisted history together on the first KMFDM album in

1985 and they have worked together on the most seminal recordings and

tours with both KMFDM and . En Esch is the standout singer in Pigface

and will be an integral part of their forthcoming tour.

Galen Waling returns on drums after extensive touring commitments with

Lords of Acid, Julian K and 16 Volt.

Watts is known for his work with KMFDM, Foetus, Einstürzende Neubauten,

Schwein, Schaft, Psychic TV, Alexander McQueen and others. However

following last year’s tour with Killing Joke has been front and centre

and he returns with a completely new set alongside his original sidekicks from

KMFDM and .

The set played by will feature not just material from the recent albums

but songs from the members shared and rich musical history.

The Divine Descent Tour includes Cyanotic who bring their unique blend of

electro futurism, and new Metropolis signing A Primitive Evolution who are

promoting their new album to complete the package.

The tour will be coming coming in the wake of the new album Candy,

which is a collection of bastardised and brutalised cover versions done in the

way that only can.

A Primitive Evolution

Out of the primordial soup comes A Primitive Evolution. (A.P.E.) Given the gift of sentience, they are here to create a constantly evolving soundtrack to our world with their Dark Alternative Rock music. They are now undergoing their next mutation with the release of their latest album "Becoming." Recorded at their self-built Desolation Studios in Toronto, ON the album features collaborations with writer/producer Ian D’Sa (Billy Talent) and Audio Engineer Kenny Luong (Metric). The band has partnered with Metropolis Records and together they unleashed "Becoming" unto the world on October 5th, 2018. Known to be raw and visceral with soul and beauty A Primitive Evolution is best consumed at extremely loud volumes.

The band has been an active member of the Film and TV industry for years utilizing the talents of their director, actor and makeup artist friends to help them create their dark and often "Horror" or "Sci-Fi" themed music videos. Their music has been featured in the 2013 horror-comedy "Chastity Bites" as well as the cartoon series "Stoked" and Canadian Teen Drama "Degrassi: The Next Generation." The band has done countless tours, won "Best Rock Band" at the 2015 Toronto Independent Music Awards, played numerous showcases for prestigious festivals such as Indie Week, NXNE and Canadian Music Week and received praise from industry stalwarts Alan Cross and George Strombolopolous quickly proving not only A Primitive Evolution's calibre but also their vast appeal.

Pulling together a complex array of influences including Nine Inch Nails, The Cure, Tool, The Prodigy, Ministry, Radiohead, Alice in Chains, Vivaldi, Guns n’ Roses and more, A.P.E.'s rhythm-based attack blurs the lines of rock, electronica and all aspects between.

“Creation is evolution” waxes Carruthers ponderously. “That’s what I figure we're trying to say with A Primitive Evolution. As evolved as we think we are as humans or animals, we are very much at the beginning of the evolution of mankind. We have so much to learn and yet so much has changed in the last hundred years. We have a long way to go as a species. We want our band to reflect that too, showing our raw emotions, doing it out of instinct and evolving naturally; not overthinking, just having some fun existing on this planet.”
